When Power Disappears from the Fuel System

Power loss at the fuel pump or injectors is one of the most misdiagnosed causes of a crank-no-start or lean condition. At Keeney Auto & Diesel, power delivery is verified under load—not just voltage at a connector, but full current flow across real-world circuits.

This includes:

  • Checking fuel pump relay function under real current loads
  • Measuring voltage drop across power and ground paths
  • Verifying injector pulse with load simulation if needed
  • Capturing intermittent power dropout events using scope-based datalogging

Intermittent failures, melted fuses, or blown pump driver modules often leave no obvious trace. This is where load-side testing, dynamic measurement, and waveform analysis make the difference.

If someone told you “it’s getting power” but it still won’t run, it likely wasn’t tested this way.
